  • 300 g mushrooms (button or cremini), sliced or halved

  • 250 g asparagus, trimmed and cut into 4–5 cm pieces

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 2–3 cloves garlic, minced

  • Salt, to taste

  • Black pepper, to taste

  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce or balsamic vinegar (optional, for depth)

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped


👨‍🍳 Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Vegetables

Clean the mushrooms with a damp paper towel and slice if large.
Trim the woody ends from the asparagus and cut into bite-sized lengths.


Step 2: Sauté the Mushrooms

Heat olive oil and butter together in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add mushrooms in a single layer.
Cook for 4–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they release moisture and turn golden brown.


Step 3: Add the Asparagus

Add asparagus to the skillet.
Cook for 3–4 minutes, stirring, until bright green and tender-crisp.


Step 4: Add Garlic & Seasoning

Reduce heat to medium.
Add minced garlic and sauté for 20–30 seconds until fragrant.
Season with salt and black pepper.
Add soy sauce or balsamic vinegar if using, and toss well to coat.


Step 5: Finish & Serve

Remove from heat.
Sprinkle with fresh parsley.
Serve immediately while warm and glossy.
