3 tablespoons unsalted butter
 
1 tablespoon olive oil
 
4 cloves garlic, minced

Step 1: Season the Shrimp
 
Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels.
Season with salt, black pepper, paprika, and chili flakes. Set aside.

Heat olive oil and butter together in a skillet over medium heat until melted and slightly bubbling.
 
Step 3: Sauté the Garlic
 
Add minced garlic and cook for 20–30 seconds until fragrant.
Do not brown the garlic.
 
Step 4: Cook the Shrimp
 
Add the shrimp in a single layer.
Cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink, opaque, and lightly caramelized.
 
Step 5: Finish the Sauce
 
Add lemon juice and smoked paprika (if using).
Toss the shrimp gently to coat in the sauce.
Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh herbs.
