🧾 Ingredients (Serves 2–3)

For the Shrimp

  • 400 g shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder or cayenne (optional)

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • Salt, to taste

  • Black pepper, to taste


For the Rice Base

  • 1½ cups cooked white or brown rice

  • Salt, to taste


For the Toppings

  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced

  • 1 cup ripe mango, diced

  • 1/2 cup mashed avocado or guacamole

  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped

  • 1/4 cup fresh tomato, diced

  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped

  • Lime wedges, for serving


For the Creamy Lime Sauce

  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt

  • 2 tablespoons sour cream

  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice

  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup

  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 2–3 tablespoons water or milk (to thin)


👨‍🍳 Instructions

Step 1: Season the Shrimp

In a bowl, toss shrimp with olive oil, smoked paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.


Step 2: Cook the Shrimp

Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until charred, opaque, and juicy.
Remove from heat and set aside.


Step 3: Prepare the Creamy Lime Sauce

In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise (or yogurt), sour cream, lime juice, honey, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
Add water or milk gradually until the sauce reaches a smooth, pourable consistency.


Step 4: Make the Fresh Salsa

Combine diced tomato, red onion, and chopped cilantro in a small bowl.
Season lightly with salt and a squeeze of lime juice.


Step 5: Assemble the Bowl

Divide warm rice among serving bowls.
Arrange grilled shrimp, avocado slices, mango cubes, mashed avocado, and fresh salsa on top.


Step 6: Finish & Serve

Drizzle generously with creamy lime sauce.
Garnish with extra cilantro and lime wedges.
Serve immediately.
