Herb-Butter Salmon Bites with Creamy Garlic Dip

🧾 Ingredients (Serves 3–4)

For the Salmon

  • 600 g fresh salmon fillet, skin removed, cut into large cubes

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • Salt, to taste

  • Black pepper, to taste

  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder


For the Herb Butter

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped

  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme or oregano (optional)

  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice


For the Creamy Garlic Dip

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • 1 clove garlic, finely minced

  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped


👨‍🍳 Instructions

Step 1: Season the Salmon

Pat the salmon cubes dry with paper towels.
Season evenly with salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.


Step 2: Sear the Salmon

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add salmon cubes in a single layer.
Sear for 2–3 minutes per side, turning carefully, until golden brown and just cooked through.
Remove salmon from the pan and set aside.


Step 3: Make the Herb Butter

Reduce heat to medium.
Add butter to the same pan.
Once melted, add garlic and sauté for 20–30 seconds until fragrant.
Stir in parsley, thyme (if using), and lemon juice.
Return salmon to the pan and gently toss to coat in the herb butter.
Remove from heat.


Step 4: Prepare the Creamy Garlic Dip

In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
Add garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.
Pour in heavy cream and simmer gently for 2–3 minutes.
Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper until smooth and slightly thickened.
Remove from heat and garnish with parsley.


Step 5: Serve

Arrange salmon bites in a circular pattern on a serving plate.
Place the creamy garlic dip in the center.
Serve immediately while hot and glossy.
