MANGO MOUSSE ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿฅญ

Ingredients:

  • 2 large ripe mangoes (about 500 g of pulp)

  • 1 can of condensed milk (approx. 395 g)

  • 1 cup of heavy cream or whipping cream (approx. 200 ml)

  • 1 tablespoon of unflavored gelatin

  • 1/4 cup of water (to hydrate the gelatin)

  • Optional: Mango chunks and mint leaves for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Mango Pulp:

    • Peel the mangoes and remove the seeds.

    • Blend the mango flesh until smooth and set aside.

  2. Hydrate the Gelatin:

    • In a small bowl, dissolve the gelatin in 1/4 cup of water.

    • Let it sit for about 5 minutes until it blooms.

    • Then, heat it gently in a microwave for 10-15 seconds or over low heat until fully dissolved. Let it cool slightly.

  3. Mix the Ingredients:

    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the mango puree, condensed milk, and heavy cream.

    • Whisk until well blended.

  4. Incorporate the Gelatin:

    • Gradually add the dissolved gelatin into the mango mixture while stirring continuously to ensure even distribution.

  5. Chill the Mousse:

    • Pour the mixture into serving glasses or a large dish.

    • Refrigerate for at least 3-4 hours or until set.

  6. Garnish & Serve:

    • Once the mousse is firm, garnish with mango chunks and mint leaves for a fresh touch.
