APPLE, CINNAMON & OAT SMOOTHIE

A creamy, delicious, and healthy smoothie perfect for breakfast or an energizing snack!

Ingredients:

  • 1 large apple (peeled, cored, and chopped)

  • 4–5 ice cubes (optional, for a colder and thicker smoothie)

  • 2 tablespoons oats (quick oats or rolled oats)

  • 1 cup milk of your choice (cow’s milk, almond milk, oat milk, or any other plant-based milk)

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional, adjust based on your preferred sweetness)

Instructions:

1. Prepare the ingredients:

Start by peeling the apple, removing the core, and cutting it into small chunks. This helps the blender process the apple more easily and ensures a smoother texture in your smoothie.

If you prefer an even creamier consistency, soak the oats in a small amount of milk (about 2–3 tablespoons) for 5 minutes before blending. This softens the oats and makes the smoothie silkier.

2. Blend everything together:

In a blender, combine the chopped apple, soaked (or dry) oats, cup of milk, ground cinnamon, honey (if using), and ice cubes. Blend on high speed for about 1 to 2 minutes, or until you achieve a creamy, smooth consistency with no visible chunks.

If the mixture feels too thick for your liking, you can add a little more milk (a few tablespoons at a time) until it reaches your desired texture.

3. Serve:

Pour the smoothie into a large glass. For an extra touch of flavor and beauty, sprinkle a pinch of ground cinnamon on top. You can also garnish it with thin slices of apple, a drizzle of honey, or a few extra oats if you like.

4. Enjoy:

Sip slowly and enjoy the cozy flavors of apple and cinnamon combined with the richness of oats. This smoothie is not only delicious but also packed with fiber, vitamins, and a hint of natural sweetness — making it an ideal choice for a wholesome breakfast or a satisfying midday snack.

🍏🍯 Pro Tips:

  • For an even richer flavor, use a red apple like Fuji or Gala, which are naturally sweeter.

  • Want more protein? Add a spoonful of Greek yogurt or a scoop of your favorite protein powder before blending.

  • To make it vegan, simply use plant-based milk (like almond, oat, or soy) and replace honey with maple syrup or agave nectar.
