
Fudgy Chocolate Brownie Cookies
These fudgy chocolate brownie cookies are rich, chewy, and irresistibly chocolaty! Perfect for chocolate lovers and an absolute showstopper at any gathering.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
1 1/4 cups semisweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Prep Time: 5 minutes
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter and chocolate chips over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth and glossy. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Melting: 6 minutes
In a large bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy. Mixing: 3 minutes
Stir the melted chocolate mixture into the sugar mixture and combine well. Combining: 1 minute
In a separate bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Mixing Dry & Wet: 3 minutes
Scoop tablespoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Scooping: 5 minutes
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the cookies have set edges and soft centers. Do not overbake! Baking: 12 minutes
Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Cooling: 10 minutes
