Beef with Bell Peppers and Onion π«π§ π₯©
A quick and delicious stir-fry that’s perfect for a flavorful dinner!
Ingredients:

500 g beef steak, thinly sliced into strips
-
1 red bell pepper, sliced into strips
-
1 green bell pepper, sliced into strips
-
1 yellow bell pepper, sliced into strips (optional)
-
1 large onion, sliced into strips
-
2 garlic cloves, minced
-
2 tablespoons soy sauce
-
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
-
1 tablespoon dark soy sauce (optional)
-
1/2 teaspoon sugar
-
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
-
1/2 teaspoon fresh grated ginger (optional)
-
1/2 cup beef broth or water
-
1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (for thickening)

2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions:
-
Prepare the Sauce:
In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, dark soy sauce (if using), sugar, pepper, and grated ginger. Set aside. -
Stir-Fry the Beef:

Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.

Add the beef strips and cook for 2–3 minutes until browned.

Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.

Cook the Veggies:
-
In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of oil.

Sauté the garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add the sliced onion and bell peppers. Stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until slightly softened but still crisp.

Combine Everything:

Return the beef to the pan with the vegetables.

Pour in the sauce mixture and stir well to coat everything.

Add the beef broth or water and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes.

Thicken the Sauce:

Stir in the cornstarch slurry (cornstarch + water) and cook for another minute until the sauce thickens.

Serve:

Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.

Garnish with green onions or sesame seeds if desired.
