All-Purpose Gluten-Free Flour Mix
Ingredients:
For Gluten-Free Plain Flour:
- 500g white rice flour (4 cups)
- 150g tapioca starch (1 & 1/4 cups)
- 150g potato starch (1 cup)
- 150g corn starch (1 cup)
- 50g buckwheat flour (1/3 cup)
To Make it Self-Raising Flour, Add:
- 70g gluten-free baking powder (1/3 cup)
- 2 tsp xanthan gum
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, whisk together all the ingredients until well combined.
2. Transfer the mixture into an airtight container and store it in a cool, dry place for 6-8 months.
3. Shake the container before using to ensure the flours have settled evenly.
Can be used in a wide variety of gluten-free bakes, from cakes, cupcakes, and muffins to brownies, cookies, and all sorts of pastry.
