Ingredients
For the Filling

500 g (1 lb) ground beef

2 cups diced potatoes (small cubes)

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp paprika
-
1 tsp chili powder
-
1/2 tsp cumin
-
1/2 tsp black pepper
-
1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)

1 tbsp tomato paste
-
2 tbsp cooking oil
For the Burrito

4 large flour tortillas
-
1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
-
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese (for extra melt)
-
1/4 cup sour cream (optional)

Chopped cilantro

Instructions

1. Cook the Potatoes
-
Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a skillet over medium heat.

Add diced potatoes.
-
Cook for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally until golden and crispy.

Remove from pan and set aside.
2. Cook the Beef Filling
-
In the same skillet, add another 1 tablespoon oil.
-
Sauté onion for 2–3 minutes until softened.
-
Add minced garlic and cook 30 seconds.
-
Add ground beef and cook until browned (about 5–6 minutes).

Stir in:

paprika
-
chili powder
-
cumin
-
salt
-
black pepper
-
tomato paste
-

Mix well and cook for 2 minutes to develop flavor.
3. Combine the Filling

Add the crispy potatoes back into the pan.

Mix with the beef.
-
Cook together for 2–3 minutes.
The filling should be savory, slightly spicy, and hearty.
4. Assemble the Burritos

Warm tortillas in a pan or microwave for 20 seconds so they are flexible.

Place tortilla flat on a surface.

shredded cheddar

mozzarella
-
sour cream (optional)

5. Wrap the Burrito
-
Fold in the sides of the tortilla.
-
Roll tightly from the bottom up.
6. Toast the Burrito (Important for texture)

Place the burrito seam-side down in a hot skillet.
-
Toast for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
