Ingredients
For the Beef

500g beef sirloin or flank steak, cut into bite-sized cubes

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 tsp cornstarch
-
ยฝ tsp black pepper
For the Stir-Fry
-
2 cups fresh pineapple chunks
-
1 small onion, diced
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tbsp vegetable oil
Sauce
-
3 tbsp soy sauce
-
2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
-
1 tbsp oyster sauce
-
1 tbsp pineapple juice
-
1 tsp sesame oil
-
ยฝ tsp chili flakes (optional)
Garnish
-
Fresh rosemary or parsley
-
Sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Marinate the Beef

In a bowl, combine beef, soy sauce, cornstarch, and black pepper.

Let marinate for 15โ20 minutes.
Step 2: Sear the Beef

Heat oil in a large skillet over high heat.

Sear beef for 3โ4 minutes until browned on all sides.

Remove and set aside.
Step 3: Cook the Pineapple

In the same pan, add pineapple chunks.

Cook for 2โ3 minutes until lightly caramelized.

Add onion and garlic and sautรฉ until fragrant.
Step 4: Make the Sauce
-
Mix soy sauce, honey, oyster sauce, pineapple juice, sesame oil, and chili flakes.

Pour into the pan and stir.
Step 5: Combine

Return beef to the skillet.

Toss everything together for 2โ3 minutes until coated and glossy.

Remove from heat.
