
Homemade Dinner Rolls
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour (divided, plus extra if needed)
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 packet (0.25 oz) Fleischmann’s® RapidRise Yeast
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
Directions:
Prepare the Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of flour, the sugar, yeast, and salt.
Heat the Liquid Ingredients: In a small saucepan, heat the milk, water, and butter until warm (120°F to 130°F), and the butter is almost melted. Do not let it boil.
Combine and Mix: Gradually add the warm milk mixture to the flour mixture, stirring constantly. Add the remaining flour, 1/4 cup at a time, until a soft dough forms.
Knead the Dough: Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead it for about 4-6 minutes, or until the dough is smooth and elastic. Add extra flour if needed to prevent sticking.
Let the Dough Rise: Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes, or until doubled in size.
Shape the Rolls: Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal portions. Shape each portion into a ball and place them in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish or on a baking sheet.
Final Rise: Cover the rolls with a kitchen towel and let them rise for an additional 20 minutes, or until nearly doubled.
Bake: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the rolls for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
Serve Warm: Brush the warm rolls with melted butter for an extra-soft and glossy finish.

Tips:
For a richer flavor, substitute whole milk for extra creaminess.
To ensure a warm place for rising, preheat your oven to 200°F, then turn it off before placing the dough inside to rise.
