1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

½ tsp black pepper

¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions
1. Cook the Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

Cook pasta until al dente according to package directions.

Reserve ½ cup pasta water and drain.
2. Cook the Seafood
-
Heat olive oil in a large skillet.

Season shrimp lightly with salt and pepper.
-
Cook shrimp for 2 minutes per side until pink.

Remove and set aside.

Add mussels with a splash of water.
-
Cover and steam for 4–5 minutes until opened.

Discard any unopened mussels.
3. Make the Alfredo Sauce

Melt butter in the same skillet.

Add heavy cream and simmer for 2–3 minutes.

Stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth.

Season with black pepper and red pepper flakes.
4. Combine

Add cooked pasta to the sauce.

Toss until evenly coated.

Return shrimp and mussels to the skillet.

Add reserved pasta water if needed for a silkier consistency.
5. Serve

Plate immediately.

Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan.
