
Savory Meat-Filled Pancakes
Filling:
* 500g minced meat
* 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
* 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
* 2 grams salt
* 1 teaspoon sugar
* A pinch of five-spice powder
* 1 egg
Batter:
* 500g flour
* 5g instant yeast
* 10g sugar
* 400g warm water
Instructions
1. Prepare the Filling:
- Combine minced meat, soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt, sugar, five-spice powder, and egg. Set it aside.
2. Make the Batter:
- Mix flour, yeast, sugar, and warm water.
- Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes until it doubles in size.
3. Cook the Pancakes:
- Heat a nonstick pan with some oil over medium heat.
- Oil your hands, take a bit of batter, flatten it, add desired filling, wrap it up, flatten again, and place on the pan.
- Cover with a lid and cook for 8-10 minutes, flip, cover, and cook for another 10 minutes until both sides are golden brown.
Cooking time may vary depending on the size and thickness of your pancakes.
