
Luxurious Creamy Chicken & Mushroom Pasta
Ingredients: 2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
8 oz fettuccine (or pasta of choice)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions:
Cook the Pasta:
Boil the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Chicken:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Season the chicken with salt and pepper, then cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked.
Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Sauté the Mushrooms & Garlic:
In the same skillet, add the mushrooms and cook for 3-4 minutes until tender.
Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for 1 more minute until fragrant.
Make the Creamy Sauce:
Pour in the chicken broth and let it simmer for 2 minutes to reduce slightly.
Add the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, cooking for 3-4 minutes while stirring occasionally.
Stir in the Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
Combine Everything:
Once the sauce thickens, return the cooked chicken to the skillet.
Toss in the drained pasta and mix well to coat everything in the creamy sauce.
Garnish & Serve:
Sprinkle with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.
Serve warm and enjoy your rich, indulgent pasta dish!
