Creamy Cajun Steak Alfredo Sauce

Ingredients:

  • ๐Ÿฅฉ Beef steak – 500 grams

  • ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ Cajun seasoning – 2 tablespoons

  • ๐Ÿ Fettuccine pasta – 250 grams

  • ๐Ÿฅ› Heavy cream – 250 ml

  • ๐Ÿง„ Garlic – 2 cloves, minced

  • ๐Ÿง€ Parmesan cheese – 100 grams, grated

  • ๐ŸŒฟ Parsley – to taste, chopped

  • ๐Ÿง‚ Salt and pepper – to taste

  • ๐Ÿ›ข๏ธ Olive oil – 2 tablespoons

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the steak: Season the beef steak with Cajun seasoning, making sure to coat it well on both sides. Let it sit for about 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.

  2. Cook the pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  3. Cook the steak: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned steak and cook for about 4–5 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove the steak from the pan and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing into strips.

  4. Prepare the Alfredo sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic. Sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant. Then, add the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Reduce the heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. Mix the pasta: Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce and mix well to coat the pasta evenly.

  6. Serve: Plate the pasta in individual servings, topping with Cajun steak strips. Sprinkle with chopped parsley for garnish and add extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
