Surf & Turf with Garlic Butter Sauce

A luxurious steak and seafood dinner featuring a perfectly seared filet mignon, succulent shrimp, and crab claws, all drizzled with a rich garlic butter sauce!

Ingredients
For the Steak & Seafood:
2 filet mignon steaks (or ribeye)
½ lb large shrimp (peeled & deveined)
½ lb crab claws (pre-cooked)
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic (minced)
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
1 tbsp fresh thyme or parsley (for garnish)
For the Garlic Butter Sauce:
2 tbsp butter
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup beef or chicken broth
½ cup white wine (optional)
½ tsp Dijon mustard
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
Directions
1️⃣ Sear the Steak:

Pat steaks dry and season with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear steaks for 3-4 minutes per side (or to desired doneness).
Remove from heat and let them rest.
2️⃣ Cook the Shrimp & Crab:

In the same skillet, add 1 tbsp olive oil and 1 tbsp butter.
Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes.
Cook shrimp for 1-2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
Add crab claws and heat for another 2 minutes.
Remove from the skillet and set aside.
3️⃣ Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:

In the same pan, melt 2 tbsp butter.
Add white wine (if using) and let it reduce for 1-2 minutes.
Stir in heavy cream, broth, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
Let the sauce simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
4️⃣ Assemble & Serve:

Plate the steak, shrimp, and crab claws.
Drizzle with garlic butter sauce and garnish with fresh thyme or parsley.
5️⃣ Enjoy:

Serve hot with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or rice!
