Bacon Cheeseburger Bombs

Key Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (16 ounces) refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder (for topping)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

  • Large skillet
  • Mixing spoon or spatula
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Pastry brush
  • Small mixing bowl

Cooking Instructions

Step 1: Preheat & Prepare
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper so nothing sticks and cleanup is easy.

Step 2: Cook the Beef
Heat a large skillet over medium. Add the ground beef and cook until fully browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain off any excess fat.

Step 3: Season & Mix
Stir in salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Let it simmer for about a minute to absorb flavor. Remove from heat and stir in the crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese. Let it cool slightly so it doesn’t melt the dough later.

 

Step 4: Fill the BiscuitsFlatten each biscuit round with your hands or the bottom of a glass. Spoon the beef mixture into the center, about 2 tablespoons per biscuit. Carefully fold the edges up and over the filling, pinching to seal completely. Shape into a ball.

Step 5: Bake the Bombs
Place the filled dough balls seam-side down on your prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder and sesame seeds.

Step 6: Bake
Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped parsley before serving warm.
