
Two irresistible ways to cook and enjoy shrimp π€π₯
1. Scampi Shrimp
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
3 tbsp unsalted butter
2 tbsp olive oil
4 garlic cloves, minced
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
½ cup dry white wine (or chicken broth)
Juice of 1 lemon
¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and black pepper to taste
½ tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
Instructions:
Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, and cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink. Remove from pan.
In the same pan, add garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing for 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in white wine (or broth) and cook for 2–3 minutes until slightly reduced. Stir in lemon juice and parsley.
Return shrimp to the pan, tossing to coat in the sauce. Adjust seasoning and let cook for 1 more minute.
Serve Immediately, Enjoy with crusty bread, rice, or roasted vegetables. Garnish with extra parsley and lemon wedges.
2. Cajun Butter Shrimp
Ingredients:
1 lb shrimp, peeled & deveined
4 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tbsp olive oil
6 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp thyme
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
½ tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional for extra heat)
1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions:
Heat the Pan: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and add olive oil.
Sauté Garlic: Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Cook the Shrimp: Add the shrimp, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, thyme, and red pepper flakes. Stir well to coat evenly.
Sear & Flip: Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until shrimp turn pink and slightly caramelized.
Add Lemon Juice: Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the shrimp and toss.
Garnish & Serve: Serve immediately with rice, pasta, or crusty bread.
