400 g beef steak (sirloin, ribeye, or strip steak)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon paprika
4 cups arugula (rocket) or mixed salad greens
1 cucumber, diced
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
½ small red onion, thinly sliced
1 large avocado, sliced
3 tablespoons olive oil
1½ tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
Salt and black pepper, to taste

Remove the steak from the refrigerator 15–20 minutes before cooking.
Pat dry with paper towels and rub with olive oil.
Season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook the steak for 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust time for desired doneness).
Transfer to a plate and let rest for 5 minutes, then slice thinly against the grain.
In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, Dijon mustard, honey, and vinegar (or lemon juice).
Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Whisk until smooth and slightly creamy.
In a large bowl or serving platter, arrange the arugula or mixed greens.
Add cucumber, cherry tomatoes, red onion, and avocado slices evenly over the greens.
Place sliced steak on top.
Drizzle honey mustard dressing over the salad just before serving.
Lightly toss or serve as arranged.
Serve immediately while the steak is warm.
Optional sides: crusty bread or roasted potatoes.
Always slice steak against the grain for tenderness.
Letting the steak rest keeps it juicy.
You can add crumbled feta or shaved Parmesan for extra flavor.
