Cheesy Beef Slider Burgers with Garlic Butter Brioche Buns

Description

These mini slider burgers feature juicy beef patties topped with melted cheese, sandwiched between soft, buttery brioche buns brushed with garlic butter and herbs. They are rich, savory, and perfect for parties, family gatherings, or as a fun dinner option. The buns are lightly toasted, the beef is flavorful and tender, and the melted cheese brings everything together.

Ingredients (Makes 8–10 sliders)

Beef Patties

  • 500 g ground beef (80/20 for juiciness)

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

  • ½ teaspoon paprika

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Buns & Cheese

  • 8–10 brioche slider buns

  • 8–10 slices cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or Swiss)

Garlic Butter Topping

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped

  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese

Optional Add-ins

  • Caramelized onions

  • Pickles

  • Burger sauce or mayonnaise

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the beef patties

  1. In a bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and Worcestershire sauce.

  2. Mix gently until just combined (do not overmix).

  3. Divide into small portions and shape into slider-sized patties, slightly larger than the buns (they will shrink while cooking).

  4. Set aside.

Step 2: Cook the patties

  1. Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat.

  2. Cook patties for 2–3 minutes per side, until nicely browned and cooked through.

  3. Place a slice of cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking and cover briefly to melt.

  4. Remove from heat.

Step 3: Prepare the buns

  1. Slice the brioche buns horizontally.

  2. Lightly toast the cut sides in a pan or oven until golden.

Step 4: Make the garlic butter

  1. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, and grated Parmesan.

Step 5: Assemble the sliders

  1. Place the bottom halves of the buns on a baking tray.

  2. Add a cheesy beef patty to each bun.

  3. Add optional toppings if desired.

  4. Place the top buns on.

  5. Brush the tops generously with garlic butter mixture.

Step 6: Bake (optional but recommended)

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C / 350°F.

  2. Bake sliders for 8–10 minutes, until buns are warm and glossy.

Serve

  • Serve hot with fries, salad, or dipping sauces.

  • Best enjoyed fresh while the cheese is melted and buns are soft.

Tips

  • Use brioche buns for the best texture and flavor.

  • Avoid pressing patties while cooking to keep them juicy.

  • These sliders can be assembled ahead and baked just before serving.
