Instructions:

Prepare the Octopus:
If the octopus isn’t cooked yet, boil it in salted water for about 40–50 minutes or until tender. Let it cool and cut it into manageable pieces. -
Marinate the Octopus:
In a large bowl, mix the olive oil, lemon juice, chopped garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Add the octopus pieces and make sure they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes to absorb the flavors. -
Preheat the Grill:
Heat the grill to medium-high. If you're using a charcoal grill, make sure the coals are hot and ready. -
Grill the Octopus:
Place the marinated octopus on the hot grill. Grill for about 3–4 minutes per side or until golden and slightly charred. This brings out the flavor and adds a crisp texture. -
Serve:
Remove the octopus from the grill and place it on a serving plate. Drizzle with a little more olive oil and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.
