🌯 Cheesy Beef Wraps with Creamy Sauce

🧺 Ingredients

For the beef filling

  • 300 g (10–12 oz) ground beef

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • ½ teaspoon paprika

  • ½ teaspoon chili powder (optional)

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce

For the wraps

  • 2–3 large flour tortillas

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or cheddar blend)

  • A handful of fresh spinach or parsley (optional)

For the creamy sauce

  • ½ cup mayonnaise

  • ¼ cup heavy cream or milk

  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

1. Cook the beef

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

  2. Add garlic and sauté for 15–20 seconds until fragrant.

  3. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon.

  4. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, chili powder, and soy sauce.

  5. Cook for 6–8 minutes until browned and juicy.

  6. Remove from heat.


2. Make the creamy sauce

  1. In a bowl, whisk together:

    • Mayonnaise

    • Heavy cream (or milk)

    • Dijon mustard

    • Garlic powder

    • Smoked paprika

    • Salt and pepper

  2. Mix until smooth and pourable.


3. Assemble the wraps

  1. Lay tortillas flat on a clean surface.

  2. Sprinkle a layer of shredded cheese in the center.

  3. Add a generous amount of cooked beef.

  4. Add spinach or herbs if using.

  5. Drizzle extra cheese sauce inside.

  6. Fold tightly into wraps.


4. Heat & melt

Option 1 – Pan (recommended):

  • Heat a dry skillet over medium heat.

  • Cook wraps seam-side down for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crispy.

Option 2 – Oven:

  • Bake at 190°C / 375°F for 8–10 minutes until cheese melts.


5. Finish

  • Drizzle warm creamy sauce generously over the wraps.

  • Slice in half and serve immediately while hot and gooey.
