
Cheesy Beef Stuffed Dinner Rolls

Ingredients
Dough

3 cups all-purpose flour

2 1/4 tsp instant yeast (1 packet)

2 tbsp sugar

1 tsp salt

1 cup warm milk

2 tbsp butter, melted

1 egg
Beef Filling
-
300 g ground beef
-
1 small onion, finely diced
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tbsp soy sauce
-
1 tbsp ketchup
-
1/2 tsp black pepper
-
1/2 tsp paprika
-
Salt to taste
Topping
-
150 g mozzarella cheese, cubed or shredded
-
1 egg (for egg wash)
-
1 tbsp milk (for egg wash)

Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions

1. Make the dough

In a bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let sit 5 minutes until foamy.

Add egg, melted butter, flour, and salt.

Knead for 8–10 minutes until soft and elastic.

Cover and let rise 1 hour or until doubled in size.
2. Prepare beef filling

Heat a pan and cook ground beef until browned.

Add onion and garlic; sauté until fragrant.

Season with soy sauce, ketchup, pepper, paprika, and salt.

Cook until slightly dry. Let cool.
3. Shape the rolls

Divide dough into 12 pieces.

Flatten each piece and place 1 tbsp beef filling in the center.

Add a cube of mozzarella on top.

Fold edges to form an open stuffed bun (leave center slightly open).
4. Proof
Let rolls rest 20 minutes.
5. Bake

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).

Brush rolls with egg wash.

Bake 18–20 minutes until golden brown.
6. Finish
Sprinkle with parsley and serve warm.
Tips

Add chili flakes for spice.

Replace beef with chicken or sausage if preferred.
