Butter Garlic Lobster Tails

Ingredients
Lobster
-
4 lobster tails
-
1 tbsp olive oil
-
Salt and black pepper to taste
-
1 tsp paprika
-
1 tsp garlic powder
Garlic Butter Sauce
-
80 g (6 tbsp) unsalted butter
-
5 cloves garlic, minced
-
120 ml (½ cup) heavy cream
-
2 tbsp lemon juice
-
1 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional)
-
2 tbsp Parmesan cheese, grated
-
Salt and pepper to taste
-
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions

Step 1 – Prepare Lobster Tails

Preheat oven to 200°C / 400°F.
-
Using kitchen scissors, cut the top shell lengthwise.
-
Gently pull the lobster meat out and rest it on top of the shell.
-
Brush with olive oil.
-
Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
Step 2 – Make Garlic Butter Cream Sauce
-
Melt butter in a pan over medium heat.
-
Add minced garlic and sauté 1 minute until fragrant.
-
Pour in heavy cream and simmer 2–3 minutes.
-
Add lemon juice, mustard, Parmesan, salt, and pepper.
-
Simmer until slightly thick and creamy.
Step 3 – Bake Lobster
-
Place lobster tails in a baking dish.
-
Spoon half of the sauce over the lobster.
-
Bake for 12–15 minutes until meat is opaque and tender.
Step 4 – Broil Finish
-
Turn oven to broil/grill.
-
Broil for 2–3 minutes until golden and lightly charred.
Step 5 – Serve
Pour remaining sauce over lobster and garnish with parsley.
Tips
-
Do not overcook; lobster becomes rubbery quickly.
-
Serve with bread, pasta, or mashed potatoes.
