Ingredients
Potato Dough

3 large potatoes, peeled and cubed

2 tbsp butter

¼ cup milk

½ tsp salt

¼ tsp black pepper
Beef Filling

200 g ground beef
-
1 tbsp olive oil
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
¼ cup onion, finely diced
-
2 tbsp green onions, chopped
-
½ tsp soy sauce
-
½ tsp black pepper
-
½ tsp paprika
Breading
-
½ cup all-purpose flour
-
2 eggs, beaten
-
1 cup breadcrumbs
Frying
-
Vegetable oil for deep frying
Instructions

1. Cook the Potatoes
Boil potatoes in salted water 12–15 minutes until soft.
Drain well.
Mash with:

butter
-
milk
-
salt
-
pepper
Let the mashed potatoes cool completely so they hold their shape.
2. Prepare the Beef Filling
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Cook:

onion
-
garlic
for 2 minutes.
Add ground beef and cook until browned.
Season with:

soy sauce
-
paprika
-
black pepper
Stir in green onions and cook 1 more minute.
Let the filling cool.
3. Shape the Croquettes
Take 2 tablespoons mashed potato and flatten in your palm.
Place 1 tablespoon beef filling in the center.
Wrap the potato around the filling and shape into a ball or oval.
Repeat until all croquettes are formed.
4. Bread the Croquettes
Coat each croquette in:

Flour

Egg
-
Breadcrumbs
Press lightly so the coating sticks well.
5. Fry Until Golden
Heat oil to 350°F / 175°C.
Fry croquettes 3–4 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
Transfer to paper towels to drain excess oil.
