½ cup buttermilk

½ tsp black pepper

oil for frying
For the Spicy Honey Mustard Sauce
-
½ cup mayonnaise
-
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
-
1 tbsp honey
-
1 tsp hot sauce
-
½ tsp garlic powder
-
pinch red pepper flakes
-
salt and pepper to taste
Optional Garnish
-
chopped parsley
-
parmesan cheese
-
mixed lettuce or greens
Instructions

1. Prepare the Chicken
Pat chicken tenders dry with paper towels.
Season them with:
-
salt
-
pepper
-
garlic powder
-
paprika.
2. Set Up the Breading Station
Prepare three bowls:
1️⃣ Flour mixture
-
flour + pinch salt
2️⃣ Egg mixture
-
eggs + buttermilk (whisked)
3️⃣ Crispy coating
-
panko breadcrumbs
3. Bread the Chicken
Dip each piece:
-
Flour
-
Egg mixture
-
Panko breadcrumbs
Press gently so the crumbs stick well.
4. Fry the Chicken
Heat oil to 175°C / 350°F.
Fry chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until:

golden brown
-
crispy outside
-
internal temp reaches 75°C / 165°F.
Place on a rack or paper towel to drain.
5. Make the Sauce
In a bowl mix:
-
mayonnaise
-
Dijon mustard
-
honey
-
hot sauce
-
garlic powder
-
chili flakes
Whisk until smooth and creamy.
6. Serve
Place crispy chicken over a bed of greens.
Drizzle the spicy honey mustard sauce on top and serve extra sauce on the side.
Garnish with parsley and parmesan.
