Cranberry Brie Pull-Apart Bread

Ingredients (Serves 6–8)

  • 1 round sourdough bread loaf

  • 200–250g (7–9 oz) brie cheese, rind on, cut into cubes

  • ½ cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves

  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped

  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional, for extra sweetness)

  • Pinch of salt

  • Fresh cracked black pepper

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).

  2. Place the bread on a cutting board.

  3. Using a sharp knife, cut a crosshatch pattern into the loaf (about 1-inch squares), being careful not to cut all the way through the bottom.

Step 2: Fill the Bread

  1. Gently pull apart the bread sections.

  2. Stuff brie cubes evenly into the cracks.

  3. Spoon cranberry sauce throughout the cuts.

Step 3: Add Garlic Herb Butter

  1. Mix melted butter, olive oil, garlic, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.

  2. Drizzle evenly over the entire loaf, making sure it seeps into the cuts.

  3. Drizzle honey on top if desired.

Step 4: Bake

  1. Wrap loosely in foil.

  2. Bake for 15 minutes.

  3. Uncover and bake another 10–15 minutes until cheese is melted and bread is golden and crispy.

Serve

  • Garnish with extra fresh thyme.

  • Serve warm for best melt and texture.

Tips

  • Use room-temperature brie for better melting.

  • Add chopped pecans or walnuts for crunch.

  • Perfect as a holiday appetizer.
