
Sloppy Joe Biscuit Casserole
Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef
-
¾ cup ketchup
-
¼ cup water
-
3 teaspoons brown sugar
-
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
-
2 teaspoons mustard
-
1 teaspoon garlic powder
-
1 teaspoon onion powder
-
¼ teaspoon salt
-
12 oz refrigerated biscuits (cut into quarters)
-
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions:
-
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Brown the beef:
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned. Drain excess grease. -
Make the Sloppy Joe sauce:
Add ketchup, water, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt to the skillet. Stir to combine. -
Simmer:
Let the mixture simmer for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened. -
Prepare the biscuits:
Cut the biscuit dough into quarters. Gently stir the biscuit pieces into the meat mixture until evenly coated. -
Assemble the casserole:
Pour the beef and biscuit mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Spread out evenly. -
Bake:
Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through. -
Add cheese:
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top. Return to the oven for 3–5 more minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. -
Serve hot and enjoy!
