Homemade Marshmallow Bites
Ingredients:
- 15g gelatin powder
- 60ml hot water
- 30g corn syrup or honey
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp water
- Roasted Cornstarch (for dusting)
Instructions:
1. Dissolve the gelatin powder in hot water, stirring well, and let it sit for 10 minutes.
2. Combine the corn syrup (or honey), sugar, and water in a saucepan over low heat until the sugar melts and the mixture thickens slightly.
3. Add the sugar mixture to the gelatin solution and mix on high speed for 10 minutes, or until it becomes fluffy.
4. Prepare a baking tray by sprinkling it with roasted cornstarch.
5. Transfer the marshmallow mixture to a piping bag.
6. Pipe the mixture onto the prepared surface, then sprinkle with more cornstarch.
7. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
8. Coat scissors and your hands with cornstarch, then cut the marshmallows to your desired size.
