Instructions

1. Prepare the Mashed Potatoes

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the potatoes and cook for 15–20 minutes, or until fork-tender. Drain well and return to the pot.

Add butter and warm milk, then mash until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and black pepper. Cover and keep warm.

2. Cook the Steaks

Pat the steaks dry and season both sides with salt and black pepper. Heat olive oil in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steaks

and sear for 3–4 minutes per side (depending on thickness and desired doneness).

During the last minute of cooking, add butter and minced garlic, spooning the melted butter over the steaks. Remove from the skillet and let

rest for 5 minutes.

3. Make the Creamy Cajun Shrimp

In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Toss the shrimp with Cajun seasoning and salt, then add to the pan. Cook for 2–3 minutes

per side until pink and opaque.

Add garlic and sauté briefly until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and stir in Parmesan cheese. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until the sauce

thickens slightly. Remove from heat.

4. Sauté the Spinach

In a separate pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Add spinach and sauté until wilted, about 1–2 minutes.

Season with salt and black pepper.

To Serve

Plate a generous scoop of mashed Yukon potatoes, top with a rested steak, and spoon the creamy Cajun shrimp over the steak. Add sautéed

spinach on the side. Serve immediately.

Chef’s Tips

  • Let steaks come to room temperature before cooking for even searing.

  • Adjust Cajun seasoning to your spice preference.

  • A squeeze of lemon over the shrimp adds a fresh finish.

Rich, bold, and incredibly satisfying, this surf-and-turf meal delivers restaurant-quality flavor right from your own kitchen.
