🦞 Creamy Lobster & Shrimp Pasta

🛒 Ingredients

For the Pasta

  • 250g (9 oz) fettuccine or linguine pasta

  • Salt for boiling water

For the Seafood

  • 1 lobster tail, split & meat removed

  • 200g (7 oz) large shrimp, peeled & deveined

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • Salt & black pepper to taste

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

For the Cream Sauce

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • ¼ tsp salt (adjust to taste)

  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning

  • ¼ tsp chili flakes (optional)

  • ¼ cup pasta cooking water

Garnish (Optional)

  • Fresh parsley, chopped

  • Extra Parmesan

  • Lemon wedge

1️⃣ Cook the Pasta

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

  • Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente.

  • Reserve ¼ cup pasta water, then drain and set aside.


2️⃣ Cook the Seafood

  • Season lobster and shrimp with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.

  • Heat olive oil + butter in a pan over medium-high heat.

  • Sear lobster first (2–3 minutes per side), remove and rest.

  • Add shrimp, cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink.

  • Remove and set aside.


3️⃣ Make the Cream Sauce

  • In the same pan, melt 2 tbsp butter.

  • Add minced garlic → sauté 30 seconds (don’t burn).

  • Pour in heavy cream → simmer 3–4 minutes.

  • Add Parmesan, black pepper, Italian seasoning, chili flakes.

  • Stir until smooth and thick.

  • Add reserved pasta water to loosen sauce if needed.


4️⃣ Combine Everything

  • Add pasta into sauce → toss to coat evenly.

  • Add shrimp + sliced lobster → gently mix.

  • Simmer 1–2 minutes so flavors blend.


5️⃣ Serve

  • Plate immediately.

  • Top with parsley, extra cheese & lemon squeeze.

  • Use fresh lobster for max flavor.

  • Add white wine (2 tbsp) before cream for restaurant vibes.

  • Want ultra-rich? Add 1 tbsp cream cheese into sauce.
