packed sauce. It’s perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
-
1 lb beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
-
3 cups broccoli florets
-
1 large carrot, thinly sliced
-
8 oz egg noodles or spaghetti
-
3 tablespoons soy sauce
-
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
-
2 teaspoons cornstarch
-
1 teaspoon sesame oil
-
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
-
1 cup beef broth
-
4 cloves garlic, minced
-
Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions
1. Cook the noodles
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. Prepare the sauce
In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, sesame oil, and beef broth until smooth. Set aside.
3. Cook the beef
Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef in a single layer and season lightly
with salt and pepper. Sear for 2–3 minutes until browned but not overcooked. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
4. Cook the vegetables
Add the remaining tablespoon of oil to the same pan. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add broccoli and carrots, stir-frying
for 3–4 minutes until crisp-tender.
5. Combine and sauce
Return the beef to the pan. Pour in the prepared sauce and stir well. Cook for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and
vegetables.
6. Add noodles
Add the cooked noodles to the pan and toss everything together until evenly combined and heated through.
7. Serve
Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot.
