
Grilled Pineapple Teriyaki Salmon

This Grilled Pineapple Teriyaki Salmon is sweet, savory, and perfectly balanced. Juicy grilled salmon is glazed with a homemade teriyaki sauce
and paired with caramelized pineapple for a bright, tropical twist.
Ingredients
For the Salmon

4 salmon fillets
-
Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil
For the Teriyaki Sauce
-
1/4 cup soy sauce
-
2 tablespoons honey or brown sugar
-
1 tablespoon rice vinegar or lemon juice
-
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger (optional)
-
1 clove garlic, minced
For the Grilled Pineapple
-
4–6 fresh pineapple slices
-
1 teaspoon olive oil
Instructions
1. Prepare the teriyaki sauce
In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey (or brown sugar), rice vinegar, ginger, and garlic. Set aside.
2. Season the salmon
Pat the salmon fillets dry. Season both sides with salt and black pepper, then brush lightly with olive oil.
3. Preheat the grill
Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates.
4. Grill the pineapple
Brush pineapple slices with a little olive oil. Grill for 2–3 minutes per side until lightly charred and caramelized. Remove and set aside.
5. Grill the salmon
Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Cook for 4–5 minutes, then carefully flip and grill for another 3–4 minutes, brushing with
teriyaki sauce during the last few minutes of cooking.
6. Glaze and finish
Brush the salmon with extra teriyaki sauce just before removing from the grill.
7. Serve
Serve the grilled salmon topped with caramelized pineapple slices and an extra drizzle of teriyaki sauce.
