Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Toss kataifi pastry with melted butter and shape into small nests using a muffin tin.

  3. Bake for 10–12 minutes until golden and crisp.

  4. Pat scallops dry and season lightly with salt and pepper.

  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat.

  6. Sear scallops for about 1½–2 minutes per side until a deep golden crust forms.

  7. Add butter during the final minute and baste the scallops.

  8. Mix mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and honey to create the sauce.

  9. Place each scallop inside a crispy nest.

  10. Top with salmon roe and a small spoonful of caviar.

  11. Add microgreens, edible flowers, and dots of sauce around the plate.

  12. Serve immediately.
