Sausage Cream Cheese Crescents

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. ground sausage (breakfast, Italian, or any variety)

  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup shredded cheese of your choice (cheddar, mozzarella, pepper jack – your call!)

  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls

  • Pepper, to taste


Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

  2. Cook the sausage: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground sausage until fully browned. Break it up with a spatula as it cooks. Drain excess grease if needed.

  3. Mix the filling: In a large bowl, combine the cooked sausage, softened cream cheese, and shredded cheese. Stir until everything is well mixed. Add pepper to taste.

  4. Prepare the crescents: Open the crescent roll cans and separate the dough into triangles.

  5. Fill and roll: Place about 1 tablespoon of the sausage mixture onto the wide end of each triangle. Roll up toward the narrow end like a crescent.

  6. Bake: Place crescents on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.

  7. Cool slightly and serve warm. Optional: sprinkle with parsley or more cheese while still hot for extra flair.


Tips:

  • Use spicy sausage for a kick 🌢️

  • These can be made ahead and refrigerated or frozen before baking

  • Serve with marinara, ranch, or spicy mustard for dipping
