PINEAPPLE BOURBON HONEY SOUR


Ingredients:
- 2 ounces bourbon
- 1 ounce fresh pineapple juice
- 0.75 ounce honey syrup (made by combining equal parts honey and warm water)
- 0.75 ounce fresh lemon juice
- Pineapple wedge and cherry for garnish
- Ice cubes

Directions:
1. Begin by preparing the honey syrup. In a small bowl, mix equal parts of honey and warm water. Stir until the honey fully dissolves, creating a smooth syrup that is easy to pour. Let it cool.

2. Next, gather your cocktail shaker. Fill it halfway with ice cubes to ensure the drink is nicely chilled when shaken.

3. Pour the bourbon, fresh pineapple juice, honey syrup, and freshly squeezed lemon juice directly into the shaker over the ice.

4. Secure the lid on the shaker tightly. Shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds. This not only combines all ingredients but also chills the drink to perfection.

5. Prepare your serving glass; you can use a rocks glass or an old-fashioned glass. Fill it with ice if you prefer a colder drink.

6. Strain the mixture from your shaker into the glass, taking care to keep any ice from falling in with the drink.

7. For the final touch, garnish your drink with a piece of pineapple and a cherry on top for a beautiful presentation.
