
Egg & Avocado Sriracha Toast ๐ณ๐ฅ๐ฅ
A delicious, nutritious, and easy-to-make breakfast or snack with creamy avocado, a perfectly cooked egg, and a spicy Sriracha kick!
Ingredients (Serves 1)

1 slice whole-grain bread ๐

½ avocado, mashed ๐ฅ

1 fried or poached egg ๐ณ
โ
½ teaspoon Sriracha sauce ๐ถ (adjust to taste)

Salt & pepper to taste ๐ง

(Optional) Red pepper flakes, sesame seeds, or microgreens for garnish
Instructions

Toast the Bread

Toast the whole-grain bread to your desired crispiness.

Prepare the Avocado Spread

In a small bowl, mash ½ avocado with a fork.

Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper.

(Optional) Add a squeeze of lemon juice to keep it fresh and add brightness.

Cook the Egg

Fried Egg: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat, lightly grease with oil or butter, and fry the egg until the whites are set but the yolk is still runny.

Poached Egg: Bring a pot of water to a gentle simmer, add a teaspoon of vinegar, and poach the egg for 3-4 minutes until the whites are set.
