Chewy Homemade Nougat Bars



Ingredients:

2 cups white chocolate chips (or chopped white chocolate)
2 cups mini marshmallows
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1 cup mixed dried fruits (such as dried apricots, cherries, pineapple, and papaya)
1 cup mixed nuts (such as almonds, pistachios, and cashews)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:

Prepare the Baking Dish: Line an 8x8-inch (or similar size) baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal later.

Melt the Mixture: In a large saucepan over low heat, combine the white chocolate chips, mini marshmallows, and sweetened condensed milk. Stir continuously until everything is melted and smooth.

Add Flavor and Ingredients: Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Gently fold in the mixed dried fruits and nuts until evenly distributed.

Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the nougat mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly with a spatula. Press it down firmly to create an even layer.

Chill: Allow the nougat bars to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes. Then, place the dish in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or until fully set.

Cut and Serve: Once set, lift the nougat out of the baking dish using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into bars or squares. Enjoy your Chewy Homemade Nougat Bars!
