
πΊ Beet & Hibiscus Agua Fresca
Ultra refreshing, antioxidant-rich, with a fruity twist ππ
π§ Ingredients:

1 large beet (raw or cooked)
-
½ cup dried hibiscus flowers (jamaica)
-
1.5 liters water
-
½ cup sugar or honey (to taste)
-
Juice of 1 lemon
-
½ cup chopped strawberries π
-
½ cup pineapple cubes π
-
½ cup chopped apple π
-
Ice, to taste
πͺ Instructions:
1. Prepare the hibiscus infusion

Boil ½ liter of water and add the hibiscus flowers.

Simmer on medium heat for 5 minutes, then turn off the heat and let it steep for 10 minutes.

Strain and set aside the liquid.
2. Blend the beet
-
Peel and chop the beet into small pieces.
-
Blend it with 1 cup of water until smooth.
-
Strain if you prefer a lighter texture.
3. Mix everything

In a large pitcher, combine the hibiscus infusion with the beet juice.

Add the remaining water, sugar or honey, and stir well.

Squeeze in the lemon juice to balance the flavors.

Add the strawberries, pineapple, and apple to the pitcher.

Add ice to your liking and let it rest for a few minutes so the fruits can soak up the flavor.

Serve chilled and enjoy!
