For the beef
450 g sirloin or flank steak, sliced
Salt
Black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
For the mushroom cream sauce
2 tablespoons butter
200 g mushrooms, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
½ cup beef broth
¾ cup heavy cream
½ teaspoon thyme
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
