Ingredients

1 tablespoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 tablespoon olive oil
For the BBQ Sauce

1 cup barbecue sauce
-
¼ cup apple cider vinegar

2 tablespoons honey
-
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
For Assembly

12 slider buns
-
2 jalapeños, sliced
-
Fresh cilantro, chopped

Extra BBQ sauce for serving
Instructions
Step 1: Season the Pork

Pat the pork shoulder dry.

Mix salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, and brown sugar.

Rub the seasoning mixture all over the pork.
Step 2: Sear the Pork

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Sear the pork on all sides until deeply browned, about 2–3 minutes per side.
Step 3: Slow Cook

Transfer the pork to a slow cooker.

In a bowl, combine BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, honey, and Worcestershire sauce.

Pour the mixture over the pork.

Cover and cook:

Step 4: Shred the Pork

Remove the pork from the slow cooker.

Shred using two forks.

Return the shredded pork to the sauce and mix well.
Step 5: Assemble the Sliders

Lightly toast the slider buns.

Pile a generous amount of pulled pork onto the bottom bun.

Top with BBQ sauce.

Add sliced jalapeños.

Sprinkle with fresh cilantro.
