Step 1: Make the Meatballs

In a large bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, egg, milk, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.

Roll into evenly sized meatballs (about golf-ball size).

Step 2: Cook the Meatballs

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook, turning occasionally, for 8–10 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

Step 3: Prepare the BBQ Glaze

In the same skillet, lower the heat and add barbecue sauce, honey, soy sauce, vinegar, and chili flakes. Stir well.

Return the meatballs to the pan and toss until fully coated. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until the sauce thickens and becomes glossy.

Step 4: Make the Mashed Potatoes

Boil potatoes in salted water for 15–18 minutes until very tender. Drain well.

Mash with butter and warm milk until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Step 5: Serve

Spoon mashed potatoes into a bowl or plate. Top with BBQ-glazed meatballs and drizzle extra sauce over the top. Garnish with chopped parsley.

Serve hot.
