Peppercorn Sauce

1 tbsp crushed black peppercorns

2 cloves garlic, minced

100 ml heavy cream

50 ml beef broth

1 tbsp butter

1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional)

Instructions

1. Cook the Steak

Season steak generously with salt and pepper.

Heat oil in a pan until very hot.

Sear steak 2–4 minutes per side (depending on thickness and doneness).

Add butter and baste for extra flavor.

Rest the steak for 5 minutes before slicing.
2. Make the Peppercorn Sauce

In the same pan, sauté garlic and peppercorns.

Add beef broth and simmer briefly.

Pour in heavy cream and stir.

Add butter and mustard, cook until thick and smooth.
3. Serve

Slice steak.

Pour sauce over the top.

Serve with crispy fries and garnish with parsley.
