Garlic Butter Shrimp with Asparagus

Ingredients

Main

  • 300g shrimp, peeled & deveined

  • 1 bunch Asparagus, trimmed

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Seasoning

  • Salt & black pepper

  • 1/2 tsp paprika

  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional)

Sauce Boost (optional but 🔥)

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce or oyster sauce

Garnish

  • Chopped parsley


Instructions

1. Sear the Shrimp

  • Heat oil + 1 tbsp butter in pan

  • Add shrimp, season with salt, pepper, paprika

  • Cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink

  • Remove and set aside


2. Cook Asparagus

  • In same pan, add remaining butter + garlic

  • Toss in asparagus

  • Stir-fry 3–5 minutes (still slightly crisp)


3. Combine

  • Return shrimp to pan

  • Add lemon juice + sauce

  • Toss everything together for 1–2 minutes


4. Serve

  • Sprinkle parsley

  • Serve hot (great with rice, pasta, or low-carb as is)
