Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Chicken

  1. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.

  2. Season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  4. Add chicken and sear for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown.

  5. Lower heat slightly, add butter, and cook until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F).

  6. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.

Step 2: Make the Creamy Sauce

  1. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium.

  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

  3. Stir in sun-dried tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes.

  4. Pour in chicken broth and simmer for 2–3 minutes.

  5. Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.

  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.

  7. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.

The sauce should be thick, creamy, and slightly tangy from the tomatoes.

Step 3: Cook the Ravioli

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

  2. Cook ravioli according to package instructions (usually 3–5 minutes for fresh).

  3. Drain gently and set aside.

Step 4: Combine

  1. Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning sauce over the top.

  2. Simmer for 3–4 minutes to allow flavors to meld.

  3. Plate ravioli and spoon generous sauce over them.

  4. Place chicken on top or alongside the ravioli.

  5. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley.

Serving Suggestions

  • Pair with roasted asparagus or a light green salad.

  • Serve with garlic bread to soak up the sauce.

  • A crisp white wine such as Chardonnay pairs well.

Tips

  • Pound chicken breasts slightly for even cooking.

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for a smoother sauce.

  • For extra richness, add 1 tablespoon cream cheese to the sauce.

  • If sauce becomes too thick, loosen with a splash of reserved pasta water.

Storage

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

  • Reheat gently over low heat, adding a splash of cream or broth to maintain texture.

Marry Me Chicken and Ravioli delivers creamy indulgence, savory depth, and comforting elegance — a dish that truly lives up to its name.
