Garlic Herb Lamb Chops with Shrimp Stir-Fried Noodles

PART 1: Garlic Herb Lamb Chops

Ingredients

  • 4 lamb chops (rib or loin)

  • 3 tbsp olive oil

  • 4 cloves garlic, finely minced

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp chili flakes (optional, but recommended)

  • 1 tsp dried thyme or rosemary

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Marinate the lamb:
    In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, chili flakes, and thyme.
    Rub the mixture all over the lamb chops.
    Marinate for at least 30 minutes (overnight = elite flavor).

  2. Cook the lamb:
    Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat.
    Sear lamb chops for 3–4 minutes per side for medium doneness.
    Adjust time depending on thickness and preference.

  3. Rest & finish:
    Remove from heat and let rest 5 minutes.
    Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.

👉 Result: Juicy inside, crispy garlic crust outside.



PART 2: Shrimp Stir-Fried Noodles

Ingredients

  • 200 g flat rice noodles (or egg noodles)

  • 200 g shrimp, peeled & deveined

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • ½ onion, sliced

  • ½ red bell pepper, sliced

  • 2 green onions, chopped

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce

  • 1 tsp fish sauce (optional but 🔥)

  • ½ tsp sugar

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • Optional: chili sauce or chili oil

Instructions

  1. Prep noodles:
    Soak rice noodles in hot water until soft. Drain well.

  2. Cook shrimp:
    Heat 1 tbsp oil in a wok or pan over high heat.
    Add shrimp, cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink.
    Remove and set aside.

  3. Stir-fry base:
    Add remaining oil.
    Sauté garlic and onion until fragrant.
    Add bell pepper and cook 1 minute.

  4. Combine:
    Add noodles, soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, sugar, and pepper.
    Toss quickly on high heat.

  5. Finish:
    Add shrimp back in + green onions.
    Toss everything together for 1–2 minutes.
    Add chili oil if wanted.

👉 Result: Savory, slightly sweet, smoky wok flavor.


HOW TO SERVE

Plate noodles first, lamb chops on the side or on top.
Serve hot. No sauce needed — flavors already loud 😌🔥
