½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp dried oregano

½ tsp dried thyme
-
¼ tsp cayenne pepper (adjust for heat)

½ tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper
For the Creamy Garlic Pasta
-
250 g (9 oz) fettuccine or linguine
-
2 tbsp butter
-
3 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 cup heavy cream
-
½ cup chicken broth
-
¾ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
-
½ tsp black pepper
-
¼ tsp salt (or to taste)
-
½ tsp Italian seasoning
-
Optional: ¼ tsp red chili flakes
Garnish
-
Fresh parsley, finely chopped
-
Extra Parmesan cheese
Instructions

1. Prepare the Chicken
-
Slice chicken breasts horizontally to create even thickness.
-
In a small bowl, mix all spices.
-
Rub chicken with olive oil, then coat evenly with the spice mix.
2. Cook the Chicken
-
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
-
Add a small drizzle of oil.
-
Sear chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until deeply browned and fully cooked.

Remove from pan, rest for 5 minutes, then slice.

3. Cook the Pasta

Boil pasta in salted water until al dente.

Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
4. Make the Creamy Sauce

Lower heat to medium.

In the same pan, melt butter.
-
Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Pour in chicken broth and cream, stir gently.
-
Simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.

Add Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and chili flakes.

Stir until smooth and creamy.
5. Combine
-
Add pasta to the sauce.
-
Toss gently, adding reserved pasta water if needed.
-
Plate pasta and top with sliced chicken.
Finish & Serve

Sprinkle parsley and extra Parmesan on top

Serve immediately while hot and creamy
