Chocolate Chip Cookie Croissants
Ingredients
Croissants

4 large croissants (store-bought or homemade)
Cookie Dough Filling

½ cup unsalted butter, softened
-
½ cup brown sugar
-
¼ cup granulated sugar
-
1 egg yolk
-
1 tsp vanilla extract
-
1 cup all-purpose flour
-
½ tsp baking soda
-
¼ tsp salt
-
¾ cup chocolate chips
Chocolate Drizzle
-
½ cup dark chocolate chips
-
1 tbsp heavy cream
Optional Topping
-
Extra mini chocolate chips
-
Sea salt flakes
Instructions

1. Prepare the Cookie Dough
-
In a bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.

Add egg yolk and vanilla extract, mixing well.
-
Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt.
-
Fold in the chocolate chips.
2. Prepare the Croissants
-
Slice each croissant horizontally (not fully through).
-
Fill generously with cookie dough mixture.
3. Bake
-
Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).
-
Place croissants on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
-
Bake for 10–12 minutes until the cookie dough is set and the croissants are crispy.
4. Make Chocolate Drizzle
-
Melt dark chocolate chips with heavy cream in the microwave or over a double boiler.
-
Stir until smooth.
5. Finish & Serve
-
Drizzle melted chocolate over the warm croissants.
-
Sprinkle with mini chocolate chips and sea salt flakes.
