
Chicken Roll-Ups with Ham and Cheese
Ingredients:

8 large chicken breast fillets

8 slices of cooked ham
-
8 slices of cheddar cheese (or your preferred cheese)

2 eggs
-
Breadcrumbs for breading

Salt and pepper to taste
-
Oil or butter for frying (optional)
Instructions:
1️⃣ Prepare the Chicken:

Lay the chicken fillets flat and season them with salt and pepper on both sides.

If the fillets are too thick, gently pound them with a meat mallet to make them thinner and more even.
2️⃣ Assemble the Roll-Ups:

Place a slice of ham on each chicken fillet.

Add a slice of cheese on top of the ham.

Roll the chicken tightly, securing it with toothpicks if needed.
3️⃣ Bread the Roll-Ups:

In a bowl, beat the eggs.

Dip each roll-up into the beaten eggs, ensuring it is fully coated.

Then, roll it in breadcrumbs until completely covered.
4️⃣ Cook the Roll-Ups:

Heat oil or butter in a pan over medium heat.

Place the roll-ups in the pan and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 4-5 minutes per side.

If needed, cover the pan and let them cook through, or finish baking them in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for 10-15 minutes.
5️⃣ Serve and Enjoy:

Remove the toothpicks before serving.

Serve hot with a side of salad, mashed potatoes, or your favorite dipping sauce.
